Dennis is proud to announce that his short film MY DATE WITH ADAM will have a screening in his home state of Nevada.

The short comedic film is an official selection of the High Desert International Film Festival and will have a screening in May.  The High Desert Fest is in Pahrump, just outside Las Vegas.

The movie will screen on Friday April 4th and Sunday April 6th as part of a series of short films.

AGAMEMNON at Pitt Stages (University of Pittsburgh) opened on Friday, February 14 and is enjoying a wonderful run. Performances are tonight until Sunday, February 23.  Click here for tickets.

After ten years of the Trojan War, Agamemnon returns to his palace in Argos, only to find that Clytemnestra has not just been patiently waiting for him, but plotting and planning vengeance. Using the Ted Hughes translation, this modern production highlights a shattered and violent world, echoing current events. 

Following the Saturday evening performance on the 15th, there will be a special talkback with the director, cast & crew and distinguished veterans.

Pleased and honored to announce that the short film MY DATE WITH ADAM is an official selection of the Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival.

Although a romantic comedy, the movie has definite science fiction elements (robots are prominently featured as one of the characters is a CMU roboticist).

As part of a special Valentine's Day program, the movie will be screened with several other romantic sci-fi shorts on February 14 at 5:00 pm at The Somerville Theater in Boston.

Dennis has begun the preproduction process and auditions for the upcoming Pitt Stages at University of Pittsburgh main stage production of AGEMEMNON by Aeschylus, translated by Ted Hughes, which will begin performances February 13-23, 2014. Performances will be in the Henry Heymann Theatre.

As part of the Steeltown Film Factory Competition, the evening will be an exciting event that includes screening some behind the scenes footage as well as a Q&A with cast and crew.

FIlmed in Pittsburgh in the summer of 2013, MY DATE WITH ADAM is the award-winning script for the Steeltown Film Factory. This short romantic comedy is about wedding planner on a quest for the perfect man. She uses an internet dating site to find him, but he may be not exactly what he appears to be.

The film features NYC based actor Brian Morvant as Adam and several well-known local actors such as Tressa Glover, Julianne Avolio, Adrienne Wehr, Randy Kovitz, Jason McCune.

Dennis is proud to announce that he'll be joining a few other playwrights to write a brand new play specifically for the No Name Players to celebrate the Mt. Lebanon Plen Air Festival in Mt. Lebanon, PA.  

"Plen air" translated from the French means "In the Open Air" and refers to the act of painting outdoors, a practice that came about in the 19th century when paints became available in tubes which allowed artists to leave the studio.  

The Plein Air Festival in Mt. Lebanon runs from September 30 to October 6, 2013. Artists come from all over the country to sit outside and paint aspects of the neighborhood, with beautiful results.

The No Name Players performance will be on Saturday October 5th at the Clearview Commons in Uptown Mt. Lebanon at 3:00 pm.  This is a free family-friendly event!
